– Disconnect electrical connectors -3-.
– Push tab -2- in direction of -arrow A-.
– Swing control unit -1- downwards, and pull it out of holder -4-
in direction of -arrow B-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– After the control unit has been renewed, conclude the test
plan for the renewal of the control unit using ⇒ Vehicle diag‐
nostic tester.

Removing and installing sunroof roller
blind
Removing
– Open sunroof roller blind completely.
If the electrical system fails to operate, the sunroof roller blind
can also be opened manually ⇒ Rep. gr. 60; Manual operation.
– Remove moulded headliner ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70; Roof trims; Removing and installing moulded
headliner.
– Remove sunroof roller blind motor -V260- ⇒ Rep. gr. 60; Re‐
moving and installing rear sunroof roller blind motor [V260].
– Remove slotted guide ⇒ Rep. gr. 60; Removing and instal‐
ling slotted guide.
– Push sunroof roller blind -2- by hand as far as possible
towards rear -arrow A-.

– Unscrew bolts -1-.
– Pull sunroof roller blind -1- together with holders -2- in direc‐
tion of -arrow A- out of slotted guide -4- until connecting
point between sunroof roller blind -1- and Bowden cables -3-
becomes visible.
– Detach Bowden cables -3- in direction of -arrow B- from
slides -5-.
Installing
Important
•
Sunroof roller blind -1- always remains attached to holders
-3-.
– Attach Bowden cables -4- to slides -2- in sunroof roller blind
-1-.

– Push sunroof roller blind -1- with attached Bowden cables
-4- in direction of -arrow A- into slotted guide -5-.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal, observing the
following:

Adapting sliding sunroof adjustment
control unit [J245]
Important
•
Ignition is switched on.
– Press and hold “Close” button until adaption process is con‐
cluded (approx. 20 seconds).
The sunroof roller blind is completely closed.
Adaption can only be carried out using ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic
tester.

Removing and installing sunroof roller
blind motor [V260]
The sunroof roller blind motor -V260- will henceforth be referred
to as “sunroof roller blind motor”.
Removing
– Lower the moulded headliner, and place it onto head re‐
straints ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70; Roof
trims; Removing and installing moulded headliner.
– Switch off ignition and electrical consumers.
– Place vehicle key and other entry and start authorisation
devices (e.g. smartphone) outside the vehicle interior.
– Disconnect electrical connector -2-.
